| Once you enter the walls of the castle, recently transformed in an elegant hotel, you will feel carried away in past times.
The powerful turrets, the bulky towers, the ornate battlements testify the story of the powerful family of the Orsini – that has given its name to the Castle - and that together with other famous Italian noble families (the Borgia, the Barberini and the Lante della Rovere) wrote the story of central Italy and the Papacy with their intrigues and bloody wars. | | After a careful and exquisite restoration of this historical building, the hotel today can offer 50 rooms and suites, each with its different taste and atmosphere. Some of the accommodation in the Castle features suites in the towers with a breathtaking view of the surrounds. Other rooms are in the Borghetto dei Lecci and in the Villino Salimei, a villa of the eighteenth century, the most recent building of the property.
All rooms are furnished with antique furniture and embellished by important pictures and can offer, besides the unforgettable atmosphere, all modern appliances, such as TV, refrigerator bar, safety boxes and air conditioning. |
